Day Trip for the Chinese Students
(13/12/2024 – for HUJI students and others)
Our Mission:
The Israel-China Friendship Society (ICFS) with the support of the Chinese Embassy, the Chinese Students and Scholars Association, and the Former Residence of China Association (FRCA), is organizing a day trip for the Chinese students who study in Israel. This year (2024) it is prioritizes the students of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem but we have around 15 seats for other students who need to arrive at Savidor Bus Terminal in Tel-Aviv.
The trip shall include 40-46 students and around 5-10 members of ICFS and FRCA. The trip is free of charge.
The trip itinerary include some members of The former Residence of China association (FRCA) will join us and share their stories.
The trip will show some stages of the history of Israel from 1,000 BC the contemporary period.
Date and Time of Trip:
Friday, December 13, 2024, from 7.30 morning till around 17.00 in the afternoon
The Tentative Itinerary
7.30 – Departure from Mount Scopus Jerusalem + Savidor Bus Terminal in Tel – Aviv
7.45 – Pickup students as Givat Ram campus in Jerusalem
8.30 – The Armored Corps Museum (Latrun)
9.30 – Breakfast (brought by the Students)
10.00 – Drive to the ruins of Khirbet Qeiyafa (King David Period)
10.30 Tour of Khirbet Qeiyafa
11.30 Drive to Khirbet Midras (Roman Period) and tour in the caves and tunnels
13.30-15.30 Lunch at Tel Azeka (Biblical period) viewpoint and tour
15.30 Drive to Jerusalem or Tel-Aviv
16.30-17.00 arrive at Jerusalem / Tel-Aviv
Registration:
The trip is free of charge.
The registration is based on the timing of the registration (first register first in).
Students in the waiting list may join later on the basis of vacancy.

- Simple breakfast
